MOgene LC, a Limited Liability Company has been in operations since February 2004. The company has established solid reputation as a genomics service provider to academic, government and industrial research groups and institutions. Several papers have been published in leading scientific journals, based on the genomic services provided by MOgene. Company’s management and employees have a vast range of expertise and experience.

MOgene’s mission is to provide “best in class” services to its partners in deploying genomic capabilities to bring critical solutions to both agriculture and industrial biotech operations. Increasing crop productivity, reliability by applying genomic solutions is one objective of the company. Another objective is to enhance microbial productivity and metabolic potential to convert diverse feed stocks into a range of commodity and specialty applications. The founders of Mogene have extensive experience in developing insights regarding market needs and bringing innovative solutions to agricultural, food and industrial markets.

The Company also has a service-based business to provide:

• Agilent and NimbleGen Microarray Services for gene expression, CGH, ChIP-on-Chip, Methylation, miRNA and Sequence Capture
• NextGen Sequencing using Roche’s 454 FLX Sequences and Titanium reagents
• QPCR, Genotyping using ABI 7900

Currently we have one full-time employee who manages the research operations and three full time technicians. We plan to add more people as needs arise and we have access to capabilities from other companies and the founders on an as needed basis. We also employ part time administrative and accounting help.
