We have found MOgene a great partner for our microarray work using small amounts of RNA isolated from preimplantation embryos and uterine lymphocytes.  When we used NuGen amplification to increase RNA yield, we got very good correlation between microarray results and RT-PCR confirmation. It is a great convenience to have microarray services and RT-PCR under the same roof.

Two features of MOgene make them very valuable to our lab: their insistence on obtaining quality results and the quality of the personal interactions between MOgene and ourselves.  They really are research partners rather than simple fee-for-service providers and have been willing to provide advice and feedback on our experimental designs.

I have been involved with microarrays for almost a decade—starting with homemade cDNA arrays for one of our cyanobacterial strains. This was a very fruitful enterprise, but the advent of the Agilent arrays provides speed and flexibility.
